Everyday Teaching's Digests are published 28 weeks during the school year, and we have several selections and grade levels for you to choose from, depending upon your grade level needs and interests. Please select the level below to match your current needs. Note that we include some grade levels twice, for instance, 1st grade appears in the PreK-1 Early Educators Digest, and then appears again with grades 1-3 in the Early Elementary Digest. You can choose both issues to cover all skill levels, select the PreK-1 for more limited skills, or select 1-3 for more advanced students. Most often, the skill levels for borderline category grades overlap the two groups and you would likely benefit from both digests.

The Monday Digest is geared toward Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade teachers. Resource categories cover Teaching Features (for all aspects of both classroom and administrative functions), Learning Skills to match this grade and ability level, (including pre-math and literacy skills), Art projects to correspond to monthly teaching themes, Explorations into relevant science and social studies topics, topical holiday resources, and online Interactivities for the younger student. Themes and Lesson Plans are also included.
 
Addressing educators' needs in Grades 1-3, this digest includes the following resources: Themed Lesson Plans each week, Teaching Resources and Tools, specific Printable Handouts for this skill level, Student Activity Worksheets, Teaching Forms, Language Arts Exercises, Teaching Files based on this day in history, Science Materials, Math Skills, Themed "Extras" and News. Interactivities are also included, along with Web Treks when they are appropriate for this grade level.
  
  This digest, delivered each Wednesday, contains content for intermediate level educators, for approximate grade levels of 3-6. It will provide all the content of our usual issues, including Themed Lesson Plans, Interactivities (including our popular and excellent Web Treks), Teaching Resources and Tools, Teaching Files based on this day in history, Writing Exercises, Printable Handouts, Teaching Forms, Student Activity Worksheets, Language Arts Exercises, Math Skills, science Materials and Teaching News. All content is selected for the targeted grade levels.  
 
For middle and high school educators, we offer this DIGEST every Thursday (28 issues per year). You will find grade-specific resources for Lesson Plans, Writing Exercises, Printable Student Handouts and Teaching Forms, Teaching Tools, Teaching Files based on events on this day in history, Interactivities (including our popular and excellent Web Treks), Student Activity Worksheets, English Exercises, Math Skills, Science Materials, Teaching News and appropriate Teaching Resources.

We know that you often have to teach to the specific holiday and/or event, and the Friday Digest provides you with wonderful, topical resources to do just that - with plenty of them! For instance, for Thanksgiving, we'll cover all the bases from its history, to traditions, the politics, the food and related resources, such as Colonial America and Native Americans. We'll also throw in applicable art projects and crafts for the occasion, so you can extend the learning in the classroom with fun, hands-on learning activities. Relevant printables will also be included, covering all grade levels. In this issue we'll also cover Arts and related activities. Each grade level is covered in this section, from PreK - 8, with plenty of exciting, relevant and creative arts projects, often themed to corresponding holidays and events during the school year. The Friday Digest has proved to be one of our most popular issues over the years and nicely complements one of the grade level digests above to round out a Choice Subscription. We highly recommend it; the Friday Digest is sent out each Friday (28 issues per year).
