CRAFT STICK SNOWMAN

Materials:

Large craft sticks                        Permanent marker
Acrylic paints                             Scraps of fabric
Hot glue gun and glue sticks      Thin craft wire
Fun foam                                     Small buttons, bells

Paint the craft sticks completely white, and set them aside to dry. You can sprinkle on white or silver glitter while the paint is still wet, for a sparkly snow effect. Cut a circle from white fun foam for the snowman’s head, and use a permanent marker to draw the eyes. You might want to have a circle template or have several circles already cut out; try a small circle cookie cutter. For the ear muffs, punch out holes from fun foam. Cut a carrot shape from orange fun foam for the snowman’s nose, and glue this on to his face.

Draw a crooked smile mouth with a permanent marker, and then glue the head onto the dry craft stick body. Cut a small piece of fabric to glue around the snowman’s neck for a scarf, and secure it by gluing on a button or bell. You can twirl a piece of craft wire around a think stick such as a bbq skewer to make the ear muff, and hot glue these with the ear muffs around the snowman’s head. You can add a light pink circle blush to the snowman’s head if you wish. Decorate the craft stick body with buttons, then attach a cut colored piece of wire in a loop to hang your snowman as an ornament. Alternatively, glue a small circular magnet on its back for a fridge magnet
