matched mittens quiver of arrows bookmark
A QUIVER FULL OF ARROWS BOOKMARK

Supplies:
Glue
Scissors
Cardstock
Papers
Markers

Instructions:

1. Use the templates to print out the patterns onto cardstock. You can then trace them onto any kind of paper you wish, including red cardstock for Valentine's Day.

2. Students can decorate the hearts before assembling them.

3. Cut along the "V" on the large heart. This cut will provide a slip for your bookmark to slide onto the page on your book.

4. Paste the 2nd decorated and smaller heart onto the designated place on the large heart. Glue only along the edges, and only up to the line. Leave the top part of the heart fully open.

5. The quivers can be used for marking pages of interest or of note, or they can also be used as bookmarks themselves. Cut carefully along the "V", and make as many quivers as you wish for your Valentine heart. When the smaller heart has dried to the larger heart, then insert the quivers; the bookmark is ready to be used or given away as a Valentine's Day treat.
