1.) ::: Why not make . . .

A BABYSITTER'S NOTEPAD!
http://everydayteaching.com/Holiday/Summer/BabysitterNotepads.pdf

Your teens can be pros at babysitting with these efficient, printable babysitters' notepads. Listing emergency and contact info, house rules, homework policies, bedtime, etc., teens will be prepared for all contingencies. Print them out, cut in half where indicated, and create your own babysitting notepads by using glue sticks to slide lightly across the top or corners of each page. Alternatively, punch holes in the top corners, apply rings, and your notepad is complete.

2.) ::: Why not try this online. . .

THE VIRTUAL KEYBOARD!

Tons of fun here . . . Try this virtual keyboard for piano, pan pipes, strings, guitar, steel drums, flute, or saxophone, and start making some music! Turn on the drum beats for some extra pop.

A VIRTUAL FROG DISSECTION!

Really! Give it a try. It's fascinating to see how all creatures are made, and how it all comes together to create something incredible. Organs are investigated in audio and video with this online exhibition. The best part here? No mess!

3.) ::: Why not try . . .

SUMMER JOURNAL PAGES!
http://everydayteaching.com/Holiday/Summer/SummerJournalPages.pdf

Try printing out our very own summer journal pages - bright, sunny, and inspiring! What to write? Secrets of course! All your teen's summer secrets, thoughts, ideas, dreams, and events should be written down to treasure and look back on - say, perhaps 10 years from now or so. Imagine how much fun it will be to read! Encourage your teens to create their own cover and back for their journal pages, perhaps starting with a manila file folder, collaging on fabric scraps, art designs, making "tattoos", etc. to make them their very own.
